Intellectually-Stimulating Links

Looking for some intellectual material? Here's some places to try:

• Loren's 3.14159... uhh..., a Pi-related page including tips on memorizing a few hundred digits
• The Uselessness of Pi and its irrational friends, which, surprisingly enough, has more useful information than most pi-loving pages
• History of Mathematics, without a doubt, an excellent reference for all matters mathematical
• The Jargon File, a resource defining all that computer-jargon that makes your head spin from time-to-time
• Sun-Tzu's Art of War, one of the oldest works on battle strategy

DJGPP-Related Stuff

DJGPP is a freeware, DOS-based protected-mode compiler. If you don't know what it means, it probably doesn't mean much to you. If you do, you're probably drooling right about now....

• DJ Delorie's DJGPP, has the latest version of the FAQ, mail archives and latest versions of various packages for use with the compiler
• Robert Höhne's RHIDE, an excellent integrated debugging environment for DJGPP, based on Borland's Turbo Vision libraries
• NASM, the Net-wide ASseMbler project is an Intel-syntax (as opposed to AT&T) assembly language compiler which works well with DJGPP
• The DJGPP Book Project, a growing collection of works documenting a lot of the finer points about DJGPP and protected-mode programming in general, including my submission
