Legacy project note: this game was developed circa 1994.

Death Match II was the sequel to Death Match I and built with the help of my friends. This game was written to take advantage of VGA’s Mode X, which allowed us to build a level larger than the screen’s viewport that scrolled back and forth smoothly.

It also took advantage of some SoundBlaster work that I had been playing with – I had recently acquired a Gravis Ultrasound that could emulate the SoundBlaster via a TSR.

It was lost until 2014 when I received a dump of old projects from one of my friends. It appears to run correctly under DOSBox.
