HPIR was a project designed to emulate HP’s thermal printer option for the HP-48. It was useful for printing GROBs and other information from the stack.

This program emulates most functions of the HP82240B infra-red printer. Requires an HP48G/S connected to either COM1 or COM2. Translates all special translation symbols (ie: \->, \<<) and interprets GROB data from screen and GROB prints. Logs automatically to a file and can print to an 8- or 24-bit Epson compatible printer. Easy to use and very user-friendly.
