Legacy project note: this was written circa 1998 and was my first JS project.

I started playing around Javascript after I had been maintaining a webpage for a while and whipped up Eliza-like script to play around with the language. I think I was inspired by seeing the log of someone interacting with one of those “artificial BBS sysop” programs.

In 1999 it was adapted for a small local site in Rhode Island (link no longer available).
